wedding ceremony at First HIll’s St. James Cathedral and reception at China Harbor resturant, Seattle

Tony and Jess arrived at the gorgeous St. James Cathedral in Seattle’s First Hill neighbourhood all dressed in their traditional ceremonial Vietnamese wedding attire. Grateful to have the opportunity to document Jess in her glorious gold before she transformed into her white wedding dress.

Female holy icons adorned the room where the women prepared for the next phase in their full day of events, and looked on as if to join the festivities. St. James Cathedral lent its massive magnificence to the couple’s ceremony, blessing and their families with it’s sacred embrace.

A disco clad party bus awaited to wisk the bride, groom and their wedding party off to the ornate China Harbour Resturant. The event space sits like a jewel at the edge of Seattle’s Lake Union offering a refreshing breeze and sweeping views to their guests.

Spectacular cuisine served family style atop revolving platforms created a cozy and interactive dinner despite the large 300 ish guest list. These folks know how to celebrate, and how to party!! Toasts and shots were a plenty, accompanied by large cheers and roars of laughter. Karaoke and dancing to top it off, and the room was a buzz with warmth and joy. It really feels like the two families have become one!
